Why can I not gain weight?
Your diet is wrong, the absorbtion of the right calories is very important. Start there. Then slowly start exercising correctly. The weight will come.
Why do others gain weight so easily?
Each one of us has a different body makeup, but it seems that it is linked to the body’s growth hormones. Some of us have strong growth hormones and others low growth hormones. These growth hormones do slow down as we get older so picking up weight becomes easier as we get older.
What is with the calories in all diets?
Weight gain or weight loss is a simple equation. Calories taken into the body LESS the calories burnt up = weight gain or lost.
What are calories?
The “calorie” is an early scientific measurement of energy, mostly replaced now by the “joule” – however there are 4.2J per calorie. It is based on how much energy is needed to raise the level of a quantity of water.
A Kilogram calorie (illustrated by a capital “C” – Calorie) is the amount of energy needed to raise a kilogram of water by 1°C.
A calorie (illustrated by a small “c” or “cal” – calorie) is the amount of energy needed to raise the temperature of 1 gram of water by 1°C.
There is also a pound calorie, obviously the energy needed to raise the temperature by 1°C for 1 pound of water.
Why does this system do a wellness assesment before starting the weight gain?
Very simple really, if you don’t know where you are currently with fat burning, calorie intake, calorie burn rate and exercise to mention a few, how will you know what to do to rectify the situation?
